PAIN MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
Follow-up
Upon further recomendation, patients continue in an individually tailored follow-up program after the treatment phase to ensure continued improvement and maintenance of gains made. A typical follow-up schedule consists of half-days, three days per week, for an additional four weeks, as well as one and two month follow-up visits with the medical director.
Accreditation

The Pain Management Program (PMP) at the Northwest Center for Integrative Medicine is accredited by the Commission on Accreditiation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and has earned the highest level granted, a three-year accreditation status.  PMP also has an ongoing contract with the Washington State Department of Labor and industries for pain management/return to work rehabilitation services.

Program Outcomes

As part of the program’s ongoing commitment to excellence, outcome data is collected for all patients participating in treatment several variables at discharge and at a number of follow-up points. The following outcomes are based upon patients treated between January 1, 2000 and December 31, 2010; total number of patients completing the program: 677.
